Cooby Market stall
On 9th May, the BLRA had a stall about the Roe Highway proposal at Cooby Markets.  Vistors included Peter Tinley (Member for Willagee), Ken Travers (Shadow Minister for Transport), Kate Doust (Deputy Leader of the Opposition), Lynn Maclaren (Member for South Metropolitan Region), Logan Howlett (Mayor of City of Cockburn) & councilors.
Roll plans, information flyers and plenty of people to explain what the current Roe Highway were the name of the game to explain what the Roe development means to you.

Come and join us.  Help us have a bigger voice

The City of Cockburn spends a large part of its budget on requests from Resident’s Associations and we need a strong group to ensure we get the infrastructure and services we require in our suburb.  Also, the more members that we have, the more people will listen.  Politicians are already listening to us over Roe Highway.  Be part of our team

Membership is open to all residents for the SPECIAL annual subscription of only $2.00 per household until 2016.  Normal rate $15 / year

Download the form here and send it to [email protected] or send it here

Please note that payment is required before membership can be confirmed.

Free Sausage Sizzle

Did you miss us at the recent FREE sausage sizzle at the Community Sausage Sizzle at Bibra Lake Primary School

The school hosted a Free Community Sausage Sizzle thanks to the generosity of the Bibra Lake Resident's Association.

Bibra Lake Primary School invited all students families and friends to come along and enjoy a casual evening to meet new parents, teachers and members of the Bibra Lake Community.

As a community focus, it was great to see the Girls Brigade, Boys Brigade and Lakeside playing a huge part in the great night with information and loads of great activities

We are looking for new stories and items of interest for the next newsletter due to be published in the new year.  If you have a suggestion please drop a note to us here
